Katherine Freygang
As one of the first artists in residence at Weir Farm in Ridgefield CT, I did a number of workshops and installations that celebrated the diverse ecosystems on the property and the potential opened for artistic inspiration. This was the first residency offered by the National Park Service. One installation was a poem of signs from Tribeca to Weir Farm that captured the experience of escaping the city and embracing more rural life
